CONSCIOUSNESS
We often tend to use the terms Consciousness or
Conscience to refer to the knowledge that the human
being has about himself, his existence, his relation to
the environment, or his ability to discern between right
and wrong. In this case, we will refer to the immaterial
and immortal part of the Being, also called Soul or
Spirit, which, precisely because it refers to this
subjective part, is not possible to explain empirically
verifiable.
This transfer of current in the neuron called Synapse, is
the one that produces magnetic fields, which in turn
produce thought patterns as we have seen in the
previous chapters. This can be modified or perhaps
complemented by the hypothesis of R. Penrose and his
Quantum Superposition in microtubules.
Whether through subconscious quantum physics or pure
reflection, we are increasingly approaching an
understanding of the mind and the spirit of the Being.
The different ways of naming the same stage do not
help to clarify the picture; we must assume that there is
no absolute truth, nor a single path. Perseverance in the
search and in walking this path, sincerely, free of
prejudice and dogma, helping the pilgrims we encounter
along the way, should give us more light to guide us to
our final destination.

The Absolute, the Primordial Consciousness or what is
also called Supraconsciousness, call it whatever you like,
for us it will never be knowable. We can observe its
manifestation, what we could call materialization, based
on the three dimensions of our universe or perhaps of
many more parallel universes.
Physiology, Neuroscience, and Science in general, and
independently, have always expressed their opinion on
how this consciousness manifests or resides.
Today, with the new Quantum Physics, it seems we are
getting a bit closer to a possible advance in this
research.
About a decade ago, both R. Penrose (Nobel Prize in
Physics 2020) and S. Hameroff have been working on
the Orchestrated Objective Reduction (*) theory.
For those of us who are not experts in this field of
Quantum Physics, let's first review some phenomena of
traditional physics. Every passage of an electric current,
whether produced by Electromagnetism, by a chemical
reaction as in batteries or accumulators, or bioelectricity
produced by sodium and potassium anions, produces a
magnetic field.
