Evolutionism and Creationism are still the battlegrounds for many
groups, whether cultural or religious. Not intending to take a side,
analyzing the map of Anthropological Evolution, defended by its
proponents such as Montesquieu, Turgot, Hume, and others, humanity
evolved from Australopithecus afarensis, the oldest known primate, to
the current Homo sapiens.
Their detractors contrast the chimpanzee and the gorilla, which do not
present intermediate states of this evolution, which would have had to
follow a parallel with sapiens, and why sapiens exhibits such a rapid
development of cognitive abilities in the last hundred thousand years.
This latter point is argued by some as a mutation.

Humans do not differ much from primates; primates have 24 pairs of
chromosomes, while humans have only 23 pairs. Looking at the
simplified genetic map, it seems that chromosome 9 is missing in
humans, and that it is joined by the telomere on chromosome 2, and it is
precisely here that the genes responsible for the accelerated
development of Homo sapiens are located.
With all that has been stated, one cannot define the evolution or
creation of the human being, although given the complexity and the
number of genes that are present only in humans and that, in a very
short period of time, intervened in its cognitive development, it does
not seem to be the work of any mutation nor of evolution over time.
Considering that evolution is essentially an epigenetic process of
adaptation to the environment, a process described by Darwin and
other evolutionists, we may need more time and an in-depth study to
uncover the reason for this completely unusual development that
caused this “sudden appearance of Homo sapiens sapiens” (in
comparison with primate evolution), and the complete disappearance of
Neanderthals, which, following an evolutionary process, possessed a
cranial capacity superior to that of Homo sapiens.
