Hermes Trismegistus says: “Come,
Sons of the Wise, let us all rejoice
together, we make our joy
explode with cries of joy because
death has been accomplished.”
Our Son reigns, he has been
adorned and dressed in his purple
cloak!
Hosanna, my Disciple! You have
reached the last bend of the road;
you have climbed the seventh and
final rung of the ladder of
perfection. Clothe the Stone with
its royal mantle. Rejoice, and rouge it.
You have been invested with splendid power. You are in anagogic ascent,
in Paradise. If you wish, you can enter ecstasy, flood your eyes with
celestial Light, abstract yourself from this world in contemplation of the
Absolute.
All mysteries have been shown before your eyes. Power has been granted
to you.
Having reached this pinnacle of perfection, you have completely bound
physical energies to the powers of your soul. You possess the defense
against all evils, the universal remedy!
Your life will sustain itself, because you will know how to extract it directly
from the source of life.
Distance and obstacles will no longer exist for you; you will govern nature
and the elements; you will see the future and read in consciences.
And thus, you will reconstruct the primordial Edenic state, and this
exalted life will be to you like immortality, in which you will enter without
break or transitional state.
This, my Disciple, is the resurrection of our King of Glory who comes
toward you, bursting with splendor. Remember the masters: all of them
have accomplished the transmutation of the philosophical mercury, the
Easter Day to the toll of bells and the joyful songs of Hallelujah, that is, at
the end of the long night during which our King died and suffered, the
paschal victim.
Rejoice in this divine gift that has been granted to you on this day!
It is the true carbuncle, the vitriolo rubified, the balsam of triangular life,
the “balsamum perfectum” that the same hand of God offers you; it is the
morning dew, the nobly distilled quintessence, the fish without bones that
swims in the philosophical sea, what the Alchemists call with a single
word: The Universal!
Now you have become the Eagle that gazes fixedly at the sun. You have
held, then, to my promise and I have guided you by the hand to the
threshold of the Absolute.
If you have drawn any fruit from reading these pages, give thanks to the
Lord, and when you enter Glory grant, my disciple, some remembrance to
your Master, to him who has shown you the true Way without deceit: the
Royal Way
