Since
always
people
who
considered
himself
above
the
others,
had
had
the
need
to
prove
it
one
way
or
another
according
to
the
culture
of
that
time.
With
a
feather
hat
which
feathers
had
to
be
the
tallest
of
all
the
tribe, or with a crown made of gold and precious stones.
We
can
find
the
most
ancient
references
with
the
Persians
whose
kings
kept
a
tiara
decorated
with
stars
trying
to
emulate
the
constellations.
Nowadays,
the
tiara
has
evolved
and
the
one
who
has
the
Pope
of
Rome
is
ornamented
with
three
crowns,
called
triregnum,
in
reference
to
the
sky,
the
earth
and
to
the
underworld.
In
Father's
God
iconography,
he
is
represented
with
a
five-crown
tiara.
In
the
paintings,
the
popes
who
abdicated,
or
the
ones
who
refused
this
pontifical
dignity,
are
represented with a tiara laid down their side.
The
sceptre
give
authority
to
his
bearer.
The
Egyptians
represented
their
power
with
a
sceptre
named
Heka.
Usually,
the
sceptre
is
a
short
cane
made
of
wood
or
metal
and
almost
always
ornamented
with
jewellery.
In
most
cases
we
must
look
to
the
upper
part
of
the
sceptre,
which
give
the
meaning,
for
example
the
eagles
for
the
military
or
divine
symbols
for
the religious ones.
In
the
Greek
and
Latin
tradition
every
God
had
a
material
for
their
crowns,
which
it
usually
came
from
the
tree
that
was
consecrated
to.
For
Apollo
the
laurel,
for
Zeus
the
holm
oak,
and
like
this
all
the
other
gods.
In
this
classic
world
not
only
the
gods
and
kings
received
crowns
but
also the people who got the military or sportif glory.
Crowns
have
always
had
a
self-language
depending
on
the
power
of
the
bearer,
but
in
their
evolution,
they
kept
that
circular
and
jagged
structure
in
resemblance
of
the
sun
and
his
rays.
In
Cristian
symbolism,
crowns
represented the victory of the light over the darkness and the sin.
In
the
Coronation
of
Mary,
it’s
a
crown
with
twelve
stars,
the
virgin’s
crowns
are
made
of
white
flowers
like
the
ones
on
the
first
communion
and the weddings.
Nowadays,
humanity
doesn’t
give
that
importance
to
those
symbols,
the
true
power
lies
in
the
individual
own
personality
and
behave,
and
that
is
what the others have to recognize so we can embrace that true power.
